Apple “Mac” vs. PC & Vista

With an ever growing number of college students finding themselves far behind with student loans doesn’t it make you wonder why our government doesn’t in fact do something about it. Think about all of the time and money that is put into our high schools and how it is spent towards a positive education, when the students will just go off to a college they can’t pay for and start their careers far behind in finances.

What is the answer? Well like many things that are big problems today, there is no real easy answer. However, it is something that can be dealt with, by reducing tuition at public universities and offering more aid to the students who need it. There are programs like the fafsa out there today but is that enough? Absolutely not. And we are falling short in helping some of our nations brightest students and people, penalized (financially) for choosing to learn and get a degree.

Is this choice always a good one? Well if you have been paying attention to the real world and the types of jobs that need college trained students, you know that going to college is assumed as working towards a bright future. Many jobs require it thus, students must have a degree, and so on and so forth.

The other alternative to the government stepping in, would be for the companies to start picking up the cost for their workers that must be highly trained. This is already used in many fields but could be put to use a lot more, especially in the form of financial aid money for college students who in turn work for their companies.
