It seems more and more these days people are asking…”What is a mac and why is it different that a PC or Microsoft’s new Vista?” The fact of the matter is, Apple’s Mac OSX operating system is easier to use than Vista and has a lot less errors and bugs.
So lets back up a second. You might be thinking yeah, so that means? Ok here is the visual differences of a Mac and Vista.
Mac’s Operating System - Leopard:
Window’s Vista:
Now after looking at them both you might be thinking that they both look very nice but what can they all really do? Well the truth is, millions of people are used to the progressing versions of windows and how they work. Windows XP for example was around for about 5+ years and nearly everyone with a PC has used it. However, with the new version of windows, that being Windows Vista, you’ll find there are several changes. Is it time for a switch? In my opinion yes. The new operating system from Apple has already become and instant favorite, and largely lacks the “bugs” that Vista brings to the table.
Can Macs do what Windows can? Yes! to an almost unlimited extent. Several programs were written for windows operating system only, but that is changing. All of the key things that you can do with a PC you can do easier and more quickly with Mac. My advice, find an apple store near you today and try it out for yourself!
