The Facebook Blog announced yesterday (April 6, 2008) that they would slowly be releasing Facebook IM onto the entire Facebook Network. With the release of the iPhone some 8 months ago, I’ll admit I was extremely excited. Anything that Apple Computers comes out with is sure to be something worth taking a look at. (Yes I am a big time apple fan) After taking an lengthy look at one in the Apple Store at the Mall of America, I was well about 100 steps past astounded. The iPhone is no doubt years ahead of any competition in the mobile category of things, but is service available in your area? Many are finding out it’s not.

I know many people were hoping to get a glimpse today at what the new Social Networking Site Next2Friends would offer. Unless I missed it somewhere, there was no talk about a private beta, just a “Live” beta leaving many people to assume this would be public.
At any rate, they still are leaving “us” to assume that the release to the public will happen on January 2nd, 2008, so stay tuned to see.
